Writing and Proofing
In 2009 Laura began writing and proofing for Demand Studios. She currently writes helpful online articles focusing mainly on pets, health and family as well as limited computer topics. Laura also proofs titles for Demand Studios.
Library Paraprofessional
When Laura began working at the McCain Library of Agnes Scott College in 1999, she was hired as a Library Assistant I. She was pleased to assist the Public Services Librarian in Archives and developed a strong interest in library work in general. When she moved to Carrollton in 2001, she took an Interlibrary Loan position at the Ingram Library at the University of West Georgia where she confirmed her love of library work. She worked at the Ingram Library from 2001-2006 and in that time was promoted to Library Technical Assistant and achieved a campus wide Employee of the Year Staff Award for her contributions.
Customer Service
From 1992-1999, Laura worked for Roswell Fun Machines, in its time the largest motorcycle dealership in the southeast as a receptionist and customer service representative then later as an office assistant.
